Nissan has officially announced the new Murano for the Japanese market, with sales set to begin in January 2027.
The Murano is returning to Japan after a 12-year hiatus, and it will compete in the premium SUV segment.

Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa commented, “We are pleased to announce the return of the Murano to Japan. It has been ranked as the most reliable mid-size SUV for two consecutive years in the J.D. Power 2026 US Vehicle Dependability Study.”
The new Murano features a 2.0L VC-Turbo engine, which provides improved fuel efficiency and performance.

The exterior design is characterized by a coupe-like roofline and a sharp, refined styling.
The Murano has a spacious interior, with a 12.3-inch twin display and Google Built-in.

The safety features include Nissan Safety Shield 360 and ProPilot Assist 2.1, which enables hands-off driving.

The expected price in Japan is around 600-700 million yen, which is competitive with other premium SUVs.

The new Murano is set to be released in Japan in early 2027, and it will offer a unique combination of style, technology, and safety features.
