Pioneer announced that in an update to its smartphone-only car navigation app “COCCHi” on May 23rd, it added support for landscape mode, and also began offering the “Zenrin Residential Map Option Plan” (1,050 yen/month, tax included) for basic plan users.
About the Zenrin Residential Map Option Plan
We have started offering the “Zenrin Residential Map Option Plan (1,050 yen/month, tax included)” which displays detailed information such as building names, resident names, and street addresses in addition to the basic plan (350 yen/month, tax included). With detailed information from Zenrin’s residential map data and the high-quality route guidance that only “COCCHi” can provide, you can arrive at your destination without getting lost. It can be used for deliveries and deliveries to private homes, door-to-door visits, transportation, and patrols.

Landscape display supported
Landscape mode is now supported, a feature that was highly requested by users. You can use the COCCHi navigation system on a wide screen without obstructing your view of the windshield. You can choose between portrait and landscape mode depending on your convenience and the in-car environment.

Pioneer will continue to listen to customer feedback and further evolve each function of COCCHi to reduce stress for even more drivers and support comfortable, safe driving.
Who would you recommend the Pioneer car navigation app “COCCHi” to?
COCCHi is ideal for people who purchased a new car but were unable to purchase a Pioneer product because display audio has become standard, people who want to display their preferred navigation system in a company car, and people who want to use their preferred navigation system even when renting a car.
