New Alphard 40 Series Owners Reveal the Recommended Accessories and Handy Goods They Actually Purchased!

After a full year of waiting, the new Toyota Alphard 40 series has finally been delivered! This time, I’d like to introduce some recommended accessories and useful gadgets that I personally found to be really good purchases. If you prepare these before delivery, you can start your Alphard life in a comfortable way!

Must-buy items to prepare before delivery!

Once you have decided to get your new Alphard, the first thing you should prepare is floor mats and a dashcam. There are plenty of designs and materials to choose from, including genuine floor mats and aftermarket products. I chose the genuine floor mats this time.

A dashcam not only serves as evidence in the event of an accident or other trouble, but also raises awareness of safe driving. It is recommended to choose one that has high image quality and can record clearly even at night.

Drive recorder with 3 cameras (front, interior, rear) for parking monitoring

This time, I chose the Toyota genuine ” TZ-DR500 “. The reason is that in order to expand the recording range of the Alphard, I chose a 3-camera type (front, interior, rear) that also has parking monitoring capabilities.

If you’re looking for a similar aftermarket camera without buying from a dealer, we recommend the Yupiteru Y-3100. This camera features three cameras (front, interior, and rear) and can also monitor parking.

Create a comfortable car interior! Recommended interior goods

One of the attractions of the Alphard is its spacious interior. To make the space even more comfortable, I purchased the following items.

BONFORM Phiten Seat Cushion for Hips, Perforated

I bought a memory foam seat cushion. I recommend it for people with hemorrhoids or back problems who are traveling for long periods of time.

Protective sheet for 14-inch display audio

If you purchased a new car, be sure to purchase a screen protector before removing the original screen protector that came with the car. The original display screen is prone to scratches during use.

TV Canceller Navigation Kit

The original display audio has usage restrictions while driving, preventing you from watching TV or operating the navigation system, but with “Mie Tele,” you can watch TV and operate the navigation system while driving. I actually purchased and use it myself and have had no problems. In the unlikely event that there is a problem, you can disable the function by pressing the included switch, so you can rest assured.

Protection of each part

The interior panels of the new Alphard are finished in piano black, which means scratches tend to be more noticeable over time. We recommend purchasing a coating agent before purchasing.

When I used it, I noticed that the car was blacker and cleaner after painting, even though it was a new car. I think coating is essential.

Increased storage capacity for a tidy and convenient storage item!

The Alphard has plenty of storage space, but to further increase the storage capacity, I use the console box and seatback pockets. The console box can store small items such as smartphones and wallets, and the seatback pockets can store magazines, tablets, etc.

Center console box, car storage box, accessories

The center console box in the Alphard is very large and easy to use, but it can be made even more convenient by creating a partition and using it as a two-tiered box. I actually use it by placing items I need to use immediately, such as coins and sunglasses, on the top tier.

We also recommend the storage pockets for the back seats, which can be used to store children’s toys and snacks, helping to keep the interior of the car neat and tidy.

Other useful recommended items!

There are also many other useful items, such as sunshades and USB chargers. Sunshades block out the strong sunlight in the summer and prevent the temperature inside the car from rising. USB chargers are essential items for charging smartphones, tablets, etc.

Anker PowerLine III Flow USB-C & USB-C Cable, Anker Tangle-Free Cable

The new Alphard has USB-C ports not only in the driver’s seat but in all rear seats. I purchased two Anker 1.8m tangle-free cables and use them to charge my kids’ iPads in the back seats.

I also purchased two Anker tangle-free cables (0.9m) for the driver and passenger seats. They feel great to the touch and are extremely comfortable to use.

Child & Junior Seats

The children are seated in Combi child and junior seats in the third row.

TRYONE Tablet Headrest Holder

I fixed the iPad to the headrest bar in the second row so that my kids in the third row could see it. My kids love it.
