Lexus’ entry-level sports sedan, the IS, has been announced in North America as a 2025 model. While the announcement in Japan has been delayed, it is expected to continue to be sold without any major changes.
For the 2025 model year, the IS300 F SPORT and IS350 F SPORT will come standard with comfort features such as power-folding mirrors and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel. In response to customer feedback, the F SPORT grade will also come standard with a heated steering wheel.
About the 2025 Lexus IS500 North American model
The highlight is the limited edition “Special Appearance Package” of the high-performance IS500. It comes in a vibrant Flare Yellow body color and is fitted with new 19-inch forged wheels made by BBS. The black-based interior features yellow stitching, creating a sporty yet luxurious finish. Only 180 units of this limited edition model will be available, and it will be released later this year.
In addition to this special edition, the IS500 is also available in white and flare red body colors in North America. Attention is focused on whether these colors and special edition models will be introduced in Japan.
North American Lexus IS300 and IS350 2025 models
Meanwhile, the base models, the IS300 and IS350, will continue to be sold as gasoline models. The safety system will continue to be the “Lexus Safety System+ 2.5,” and the navigation system will continue to be the same as before. While no visible improvements appear to have been made, it’s believed that fine-tuning has been done in the hidden areas.
The IS is the Lexus brand’s entry-level model, popular among first-time luxury car buyers. The 2025 model is sure to captivate many customers with its sporty driving performance and sophisticated design.
