Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and popular select shop Beams have teamed up to release the Beams Edition, a limited edition of six models: Nissan Sakura, Dayz, Roox, Note, Serena, and X-Trail. The six models will go on sale today in limited quantities.
The “ROOX BEAMS CUSTOMIZED CONCEPT” concept car, unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2024, received a great response, leading to the long-awaited commercialization of the car.
This collaboration is the result of a perfect resonance between Beams’ philosophy of “Happy Life Solution Communities,” which creates new lifestyles and culture, and Nissan’s spirit of “doing what others don’t do,” which is always in pursuit of innovation.

The innovative idea of ”inside-out denim,” which attracted attention in the first concept car, has now been applied to six models: Sakura, Dayz, Roox, Note, Serena, and X-Trail. BEAMS’ specialty of total coordination has infused each model with a unique charm.
The design was directed by Tadayuki Kato, who is the buyer for Beams’ surf and skate department and director of “SSZ.” Based on the theme of “DENIM TRIBUTE,” the collection expresses the idea that “there is no hidden agenda when it comes to truly good things” from a fashion perspective.
The biggest feature is the seat cover fabric, which is made to look like inside-out denim. The seat surface is treated with the “red edge” fray prevention technique seen in vintage denim, and jeans details such as Beams pin tags and large and small pockets are cleverly incorporated into the interior. You’ll feel as if you’re wearing your favorite jeans.

The exterior is also sprinkled with Beams essence. The front grille, door mirrors, aluminum wheels, and body sides feature Beams’ iconic orange and denim-inspired navy as accent colors, creating a design that is both subtle and eye-catching.
Furthermore, the body colors have been carefully selected to harmonize with the design of each model, and the Beams logo is placed throughout the interior and exterior to create a special feeling.
