A special “Tomica” Happy Meal project will begin on April 4, 2024, in collaboration with three companies (McDonald’s Japan, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Company, and Takara Tomy). The “Tomica” Happy Meal will be available from Friday, April 12, 2024. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the first appearance of “Tomica” in the Happy Meal. This project will help to liven up the anniversary year.
Happy Set “Tomica” Special Project
The first project, “DRIFT Twins,” a drift video featuring TGR’s professional drivers, will be released on April 4, 2024.
As the first part of the project, a special video titled “DRIFT Twins” has been released, depicting children playing with the Happy Meal original “Toyota GR Corolla” in a world of imagination.

The “DRIFT Twins” (Kalle Rovanperä/Kengushi), who possess the world’s best drifting techniques, will perform together with 1,000 drones.

Project 2: McDonald’s Harumi-dori Toyosu store is a flagship store designed in collaboration with three companies
In addition to the Toyota GR Corolla, which will be the first toy in the “Tomica” Happy Set series to go on sale from Friday, April 12, 2024, there will also be a special exhibition of the actual Toyota GR86.
The third project, “Tomica Expo in OSAKA – Full of Fun! Tomica World” held at the Osaka Nanko ATC Hall, will feature the original Happy Set “Toyota GR86” on display.
A real-life Toyota GR86, an original Happy Meal item, will be on display at the “Tomica Expo in OSAKA – Full of Fun! Tomica World” to be held at the Osaka Nanko ATC Hall from Friday, April 26th, 2024 to Monday, May 6th, 2024 (national holiday).
