Mazda unveiled the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING 3 concept prototype, based on the MAZDA3, at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from January 12th to 14th, 2024. On the same day, the company unveiled the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING concept RS prototype, based on the Roadster . The MAZDA SPIRIT RACING brand will be launched in the future.
About the new Mazda “Roadster” and Mazda Spirit Racing RS Concept
The newly announced “MAZDA SPIRIT RACING 3 concept” MAZDA3 prototype is being considered for commercialization . Specifications have not been announced, but it is possible that it will be equipped with the 2.5L engine found in the North American MAZDA3.
Other changes include changes to the exterior, the suspension and aerodynamics, and the interior is covered entirely in a suede-like artificial leather called “Regane” and equipped with bucket seats.
