Lexus plans to add a new performance model, the “RZ F,” to its lineup of new EV models, the “RZ.” The company has applied for trademark registration for the ” RZ F ” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on February 1, 2024. While only the current “RZ450e” and “RZ300e” are on sale in Japan , Lexus has applied for trademark registration for the ” RZ350e ,” ” RZ500e ,” and ” RZ550e “ with the USPTO .
What kind of model is the new Lexus “RZ F”?
Lexus offers the “F” and “F SPORT” models, but the “F”—honed on the race track—is a testament to the high-performance models Lexus strives for , referring to models honed on circuits and roads around the world, including Fuji Speedway. Currently, Lexus only offers the “RC F” as an “F” model , with other models including the “LS500 F SPORT,” “LS500h F SPORT,” “RX500h F SPORT Performance,” “IS500 F SPORT Performance,” “NX350h F SPORT,” “NX350 F SPORT,” “NX450h+ F SPORT,” and “RC300h F SPORT. ” Surprisingly, the new “F” model revealed this time is the electric vehicle model, the “RZ F.” However, there’s no doubt that the power of the electric motor allows it to achieve speeds unmatched by gasoline engines. Currently, the fastest 0-100 km/h time on the planet is an electric vehicle.

The battery EV model RZ450e, which was exhibited at the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) booth (East Hall 8) at Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from January 12th to 14th, 2024, will be given a special edition, the RZ450e “F SPORT Performance,” with 100 units sold by lottery. Scheduled for release in late March 2024 , it is highly likely that this customization will be used as a base to create a more refined model.
