The interior of the new 4 Series Gran Coupe is based on a driver-centric design philosophy, pursuing comfort and functionality. A newly designed steering wheel and air ducts create a high-quality space. The interior combines the latest digital technology with high-quality materials to improve comfort and convenience.
The new 4 Series Gran Coupe and i4 are equipped with the latest BMW iDrive technology, which combines a 12.3-inch digital meter with a 14.9-inch touch-enabled infotainment display on a curved widescreen screen to clearly display all the information the driver needs.
The car also comes equipped with a head-up display, allowing the driver to grasp information such as speed and navigation without shifting their gaze. There are two types of gasoline engines: a 2.0L inline 4-cylinder turbo engine installed in the entry model, and a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder turbo engine installed in the M Performance model “M440i xDrive”.
420i Gran Coupe M Sport: Equipped with a 2.0L inline-4 gasoline turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 184ps and a maximum torque of 30.6kgm. Enjoy a light and nimble ride. M440i Gran Coupe xDrive: Equipped with a 3.0L inline-6 gasoline turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 387ps and a maximum torque of 51.0kgm. It combines high power output with environmental friendliness. The M Adaptive Suspension adjusts the suspension stiffness according to the driving conditions, allowing for a wide range of driving styles from sporty to comfortable.
The 2L engine combines nimble driving with excellent fuel economy. The 3L engine combines high power output of 387ps/51.0kgm with environmental friendliness thanks to the air supply from the large kidney grille. The M Adaptive Suspension allows you to customize the driving experience to your liking by changing the steering, damping, and accelerator response.
Electric car model i4
The i4 electric vehicle comes in two models: the i4 eDrive40 and the i4 M50 xDrive.
The i4 eDrive40 is equipped with an electric motor that produces a maximum output of 340 PS and a maximum torque of 43.8 kgm, adopts rear-wheel drive, and has a driving range of 595 km on a single charge.
The i4 M50 xDrive is equipped with two electric motors, generating an overwhelming power output of 544 hp and a maximum torque of 81.1 kgm. The 4WD system provides excellent traction performance. The driving range on a single charge is 542 km.
Both the i4 eDrive40 and i4 M50 xDrive employ a fifth-generation electric powertrain that does not use rare earth elements, achieving both high driving performance and environmental friendliness. They are also compatible with fast charging, and when using a CHAdeMO 90kW charger, the battery can be charged to 80% of its capacity in approximately 40 minutes. When using a 150kW charger, it can be charged to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.
