Alfa Romeo officially announced on December 14, 2023 (local time) that the name of its next-generation B-segment SUV will be “Milano.” It will then have its world premiere on April 10, 2024 (local time) at 1:00 AM (Japan time) on Thursday, April 11, 2024, and is scheduled to go on sale in Europe in September 2024.

Alfa Romeo is developing the Milano B-segment SUV as an entry-level SUV positioned below the Tonale, with both EV and PHEV models available. Alfa Romeo, a subsidiary of the Stellantis Group, will use the same CMP/eCMP architecture and STLA Small, placing it in the same position as other subcompact SUVs and hatchbacks in the B-segment, and sharing it with a variety of vehicle models.

Alfa Romeo’s new B-segment SUV “Milan” expected specifications
The Milano electric model will feature a 154 horsepower (115 kW/156 PS) and 260 Nm (1.2 lb-ft) front-mounted electric motor, similar to that found in the Jeep Avenger EV and Fiat 600e, and a 54 kWh battery pack. It could also be based on the turbocharged 1.2-liter mild-hybrid unit found in the upcoming entry-level Fiat 600 Hybrid and Jeep Avenger Hybrid.
