Toyota’s new GR Supra partially improved model
This partial improvement aims to provide a “one-stop driving experience” on all roads, from city streets to circuits. Driving quality has been further enhanced through improvements to braking performance, body rigidity, and aerodynamic performance.
Along with the changes to the chassis settings, the control of the active differential has been optimized. This suppresses understeer that tends to occur during cornering, realizing more natural and responsive handling performance. For braking performance, larger diameter Brembo disc brakes are used in the front , ensuring stronger and more reliable stopping power.
The body and suspension have also been meticulously revised. The characteristics of the electronically controlled dampers, which adjust damping force according to the situation, have been revised, and the front stabilizer has been strengthened accordingly. Furthermore, reinforced aluminum stabilizer brackets have been adopted for the front and rear stabilizer brackets, while reinforced rubber bushings are used for the front control arms and reinforced rubber mounts for the rear subframe. These improvements enhance the sense of unity between the suspension and body, transmitting road information more directly and contributing to precise handling. Additionally, the rear underfloor brace structure has been strengthened, improving body rigidity and further enhancing directness, grip, and control. In line with these advancements, EPS (electric power steering) control has also been optimized , resulting in a more direct and natural steering feel and overall improved control performance. Furthermore, the front and rear camber angles have been revised to increase tire grip , improving cornering stability . The wheels, finished in matte black , create a more masculine look.

The exterior features a new ducktail-type carbon rear spoiler . Wheel arch flaps have also been added to the front, and the height of the front tire spats has been increased. These changes have optimized the front and rear aerodynamic balance and downforce, improving the vehicle’s road grip and handling performance .

The interior features a combination of Alcantara and genuine leather with an embroidered GR logo on the driver’s seat , creating a premium sporty feel. The shift knob ring and stitching (6-speed manual only) and seatbelts are red , further enhancing the sporty feel of the entire interior.

About the Toyota GR Supra A90 Final Edition exterior

Toyota-Supra-A90 Final Edition
For the exterior, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe has thoroughly pursued aerodynamic performance, honing that performance through repeated wind tunnel testing. The tires and wheels supporting the car’s feet are fitted with high-grip ” MICHELIN PILOT SPORT CUP 2″ tires, which have been widened by 10mm to maximize grip performance.
Carbon fiber aerodynamic parts are also fitted throughout the car, with the most eye-catching being the swan-neck carbon fiber rear wing reminiscent of the GR Supra GT4. This rear wing and other aerodynamic parts optimize the front and rear aerodynamic balance, downforce, and drag, thereby improving the vehicle’s road grip and handling performance. Furthermore, the carbon fiber bonnet is fitted with a duct with a removable inner duct, which can be removed as needed to improve engine cooling performance.
Toyota GR Supra A90 Final Edition Interior

The interior is dominated by the eye-catching RECARO carbon fiber full bucket seats “RECARO Podium CF ,” with Alcantara material used for the seat pads. This is designed to firmly hold the body and support more precise driving, even in situations where the G-forces acting on the driver increase due to improved driving performance. The driver’s seat in particular is red, emphasizing the driver-oriented cockpit .
Alcantara is also used in areas that are easily touched or seen by the driver, such as the steering wheel, door trim, center console kneepad, center armrest, shift knob boot, and the center of the instrument panel . Furthermore, the use of red seat belts and special carbon scuff plates adds to the special feeling that only this limited-edition model can offer.
Toyota GR Supra A90 Final Edition Body and Suspension Evolution
This vehicle is equipped with KW suspension, which is also used in the GR Supra GT4 racing car.
- Damping force adjustment:
- Extension side: 16 levels
- Contraction side: 12 levels
- Adaptable to a variety of driving conditions
- Stabilizer: Reinforced front and rear for improved limit performance
The front lower arms use reinforced rubber bushings, and the front control arms use pillow ball joints. The rear subframe uses the same aluminum rigid mount as the GR Supra GT4, enhancing the sense of unity between the suspension and body. This makes it easier for information from the road surface to be transmitted, contributing to precise handling.
Strengthening body rigidity
- front:
- Reinforced cowl brace
- Add underfloor bracing
- Rear:
- Strengthened underfloor brace structure
- Interior: Reinforced luggage crossbars
These enhancements improve body rigidity and enhance directness, grip, and control.
Optimized EPS control
By optimizing EPS (electric power steering) control in line with the evolutionary points, a more direct steering feel has been achieved, improving control performance.
Improved cornering performance
By revising the front and rear camber angles and increasing grip, stability during cornering has been improved.
