The 2025 Nissan GT-R is said to be the final model of the R35.
As the successor to the Skyline GT-R, Nissan’s iconic sports model, the GT-R inherited the R34 model and was released as the R35 model on December 6, 2007. 17 years have passed since its release, and it is a model that continues to be loved for a long time.
The current GT-R R35 does not have any safety features, including automatic braking. All new cars undergoing a full model change after November 2021 will be required to be equipped with automatic braking , but from December 2025, existing models will also be required to be equipped with automatic braking.
It is said that it is difficult to equip the current model with automatic braking, so it is thought that a transition to the R36 model will be necessary to comply with the mandatory automatic braking system .
