Bentley announced the full model change of the new Continental GT and Continental GTC on June 26, 2024. This fourth-generation model includes the high-performance Continental GT Speed.
About the new Continental GT
The new Continental GT replaces the previous W12 6L gasoline turbo engine with a new generation V8 plug-in hybrid “Ultra Performance Hybrid” , combining a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine with a maximum output of 591hp with an 187hp electric motor integrated into an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It delivers a maximum system output of 771hp (583kW / 782PS), a maximum system torque of 1,000Nm (738lb-ft), and an EV range of 81km.
The car also features active 4WD with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, electronically controlled limited-slip differential (LSD), 48V electronic active anti-roll control, and new dual-valve dampers, significantly improving driving performance. The battery pack has a capacity of 25.9 kWh and is located behind the rear axle , achieving a 49:51 front-to-rear weight distribution. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 335 km/h. Standard ventilated iron brakes and large carbon-silicon carbide brakes are available, with 10-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers.
New Continental GT full model change exterior

The exterior of the new Continental GT incorporates the latest design concept, further enhancing its quality. The previous generation’s four-lamp headlights have been replaced with matrix LED headlights, preserving Bentley’s identity. The new Continental GTC harmonizes the coupe design with the interior when open, allowing four passengers to enjoy open-air driving.
New Continental GT Fully Redesigned Interior

The interior is made of the finest materials, and is equipped with 20-way seats, an 18-speaker 2,200W Naim audio system, and other personalization options are available to suit the owner’s preferences. The center panel features a three-sided panel that rotates when the engine starts to reveal a touch display and three meters.

The new Bentley set an unofficial tunnel speed record during testing in Norway’s Ryfylke Tunnel, reaching a top speed of 335 km/h from a standstill in 33 seconds. Deliveries of the new Continental GT Speed and GTC Speed will begin in the third quarter of 2024, with prices to be announced at a later date.
