About the Audi e-tron GT
Audi has announced the new flagship EV model, the e-tron GT, which will go on sale in Japan in the fall of 2021. The Audi e-tron GT quattro will be priced at 13.99 million yen, and the Audi RS e-tron GT will be priced at 17.99 million yen.
The new Audi e-tron GT is a flagship four-door coupe EV model. Its body size is 4,990mm in length, 1,965mm in width, 1,415mm in height, and 2,898mm in wheelbase. Its drag coefficient (cd) is 0.24cd, the lowest in history.

It incorporates Audi’s new 800V electrical architecture, and its 86 kWh battery provides a range of 298 miles (488 km) in WLTP mode in European specifications. It is equipped with a three-motor electric system, just like the new e-tron unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The “e-tron GT” is a four-door sports GT car that adopts the “e-tron” name used for Audi electric powertrain vehicles, and is produced by Audi Sport.

The entry-level Audi e-tron GT quattro has a combined output of 476 PS (476 hp / 350 kW) and 630 Nm (464.7 lb-ft) of torque, while the RS e-tron GT has higher outputs: 598 PS (589 hp / 440 kW) and 830 Nm (612.2 lb-ft).
Both the e-tron GT Quattro and RS e-tron GT feature a twin-motor setup, with one motor on each axle. The 175Kwh front motor is shared between the two, but the RS’s rear motor has more power—335Kwh versus the Quattro’s 320Kwh.
A 2.5-second “overboost” feature is also offered. In European spec, with overboost enabled, the RS e-tron can do 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds) and top out at a limited 155 mph (255 km/h). The base Quattro will hit 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 152 mpg (245 km/h).
