Second generation Toyota Safety Sense
The second-generation “Toyota Safety Sense,” to be introduced in 2018, will retain the “monocular camera + millimeter-wave radar” configuration used in the current “Toyota Safety Sense P,” but will aim to prevent accidents, further reduce traffic fatalities and injuries, and ease the burden on drivers through the following advancements. Until now, no measures were taken for “pedestrians” and “cyclists” when driving at night, but this is now possible with the second-generation “Toyota Safety Sense . “
Furthermore, starting around 2023 , Toyota Safety Sense will undergo many upgrades as part of minor improvements, making almost all vehicle models available with the latest features.
