Mazda’s popular compact car, the Mazda2, has announced changes to its grade lineup and new models on November 29, 2024. The highlights of this lineup are two new models: the 15 SPORT+, which combines sporty driving performance with high-quality equipment, and the BD i Selection, which offers enhanced comfort features.
The “15 SPORT+” is equipped with standard luxury features such as adaptive LED headlights, leather seats, and heated seats in addition to the conventional “15 SPORT”. In addition, a 6-way power driver’s seat and driving position memory function have been added, improving comfort.
Meanwhile, the BD i Selection comes standard with a heated steering wheel and heated driver and passenger seats, which were highly requested by customers, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable drive even in the cold winter.
With the addition of these new models, the “15S BD” has been discontinued and the price of the manual transmission “15 SPORT” has been revised. Prices for the new Mazda 2 range from 1,548,800 yen to 2,501,400 yen. The release date is scheduled for December 25, 2024.

Mazda has announced that it will be adding attractive new models to its CX-5 and CX-30 SUVs, Mazda3 hatchback, and Mazda2 compact car, which will go on sale on December 25th.
The new models being added to each vehicle model are “Black Selection,” “i Selection,” “Leather Touring Selection,” and “SPORT+,” and are configured with the optimal combination for each vehicle model.
The “Black Selection” model features a sporty design, including black door mirror covers and wheels, and an interior with red stitching. It is available for the CX-5, CX-30, and Mazda 3.
“i Selection” is a model that features features that are of great interest to customers for each vehicle model, such as a power liftgate with hands-free function for the CX-5, heated seats for the CX-30, a 360° view monitor for the Mazda3, and a heated steering wheel for the Mazda2.
The “Leather Touring Selection” is available for the Mazda3 and is packed with high-quality equipment, including smooth leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 10-way power driver’s seat.
The “SPORT+” is available on the Mazda 2 and comes standard with the “SPORT+ package,” which was previously a manufacturer option for the “15 SPORT.” It also comes equipped with adaptive LED headlights and heated seats.
