Mugen will be previewing the Mugen Civic Type R , which is currently under development as a counterpart to the new Civic Type R , at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from January 12th to 14th, 2024.
Mugen Parts for the New Civic Type R
Two kits named “Group A” and “Group B”.
Group A
The ‘Group A’ sports a significantly more aggressive look compared to the standard FL5 Type R, recalling the glamorous FK8 model it replaces. Changes made to the front include a bold carbon fibre splitter and new shrouds for the air curtains, while distinctive silver wheels are fitted and extended rocker panels rock, adding further to the dramatic design.

Group B
Similar to Group A, “Group B” includes a bold new front splitter and front bumper shrouds in its second kit, but also a carbon fiber hood with larger air extractors and new louvres on the sides.
