Mitsubishi will unveil and release a sporty new grade, the GSR, of the new Outlander PHEV for the Australian market on March 8, 2024. Three years have passed since its release, and a facelift is rumored to be in development, but before that happens, the new flagship grade, the GSR, has been introduced in the Australian market. Starting at 73,790 Australian dollars (approximately 5.8 million yen), it is the most expensive Outlander PHEV model. The GSR is an important model for Mitsubishi Motors, combining sportiness and style. It may also be introduced in the North American market in the future.
Although there are some slight differences in the equipment, the Japanese model is the same as the new Outlander special edition “BLACK Edition,” which also has the same black accent model.
