Mitsubishi has made some improvements to its light commercial vehicle, the Minicab Van, and the light passenger vehicle, the Town Box, and released them on March 14, 2024. The adoption of a CVT has improved fuel efficiency.
Mitsubishi’s new “Minicab Van” and “Town Box” partial improvements
In this partial improvement, CVT has been newly adopted for some grades of the Minicab Van and all grades of the Town Box, improving fuel efficiency. CVT vehicles have been changed from the conventional mechanical 4WD to an electronically controlled 4WD, and three modes have been set, including “4WD AUTO”, which controls the driving force according to the road conditions. In addition, “Mud Escape Assist” has been adopted, improving off-road performance, such as the ability to escape from muddy or sandy areas.
Main changes to the Minicab Van
The existing “Bravo,” “G,” and “M” grades will now feature a CVT transmission, while the new “E” grade will continue to use the existing 4A/T and 5M/T.
The Bravo is equipped with a turbocharger, enabling powerful and stable driving. It also comes standard with a keyless operation system, easy-close sliding doors (both rear seats), and vanity mirrors for the driver and passenger seats, making it easy to use for both commercial and passenger use.
The Bravo and G models come standard with LED headlights, a heated driver’s seat, and a passenger seatback table, improving comfort.
All grades come standard with rear parking sensors and indicator lights in the meter, enhancing safety.

The transmission for all grades has been changed from 4A/T to CVT.
All grades come standard with LED headlights, a passenger seatback table, electrically retractable remote control door mirrors (with LED turn signals and remote storage), and a genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel, further enhancing the equipment.
