Mercedes-Benz has made minor changes to its electric vehicle (EV) crossover SUV, the EQA, and released the Japanese model on April 11, 2024. It comes in one grade, the EQA 250+, priced at just 7,710,000 yen.

The new EQA features a new exterior design, with a front grille panel featuring a star pattern, a light bar connecting the headlights, and a front bumper optimised for aerodynamic efficiency. At the rear, the taillights feature intricate 3D styling for a more avant-garde look.

The interior of the new Mercedes-Benz EQA boasts the latest equipment. It comes standard with two 10.25-inch central touchscreens and the latest version of the latest MBUX software. The system offers three display styles, ten color options, and a zero-layer interface. It also now wirelessly connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and supports the latest voice recognition. Voice assistants are said to be more convenient, compensating for the loss of the trackpad, and the optional Burmester surround sound system includes Dolby Atmos and sound “experience.”
Other features, such as Active Distance Assist, Distronic speed management, and augmented reality navigation, can be purchased or subscribed to after the vehicle leaves the factory. They are enabled via over-the-air updates. Mercedes stuck with the gadget theme, and improved sensor technology means lane-keeping and parking aids operate more refined.
