Mazda made some improvements to its light commercial vehicle, the Scrum Van, and light passenger vehicle, the Scrum Wagon, and released them on March 25, 2024. The Scrum Van and Scrum Wagon are OEM models of Suzuki’s light commercial vehicle , the Every , and light passenger vehicle, the Every Wagon .
Mazda Announces Partial Improvements to the New Scrum Van and Scrum Wagon
In this partial improvement, a CVT has been adopted for the automatic transmission, improving fuel efficiency and quietness. In addition, the brake LSD traction control adopted in the CVT-equipped model assists in escaping from mud. Furthermore, the 4WD is equipped with an electronically controlled part-time 4WD. Three modes, “2WD”, “4WD AUTO” and “4WD LOCK”, can now be selected depending on the usage situation and road surface conditions.

- The 4-speed AT and 5-speed AGS have been discontinued.

Mazda’s new “Scrum Van” undergoes partial product improvements
The “BUSTER” and “PC” models of the “Scrum Van” are equipped with a driver’s seat heater and a passenger seat back table to improve comfort, and LED headlights are used to provide a safer driving environment for the driver. Two new body colors, “Moss Gray Metallic” and “Pearl White,” have been added to the “BUSTER” model.

The Scrum Wagon comes standard with LED headlamps, door mirrors with LED side turn signals (auto-folding function), a passenger seat back table, and a genuine leather steering wheel. Two new body colors, Denim Blue Metallic and Moss Gray Metallic, have been added.
