Mazda “MAZDA6” production ends with no successor model! What will happen to the market?

Mazda announced on January 19, 2024, that it will end sales of the domestic model of its flagship model, the MAZDA6 (sedan and wagon). Production of the domestic model is scheduled to end in mid-April 2024. Orders will also end once production volume has been reached.

The body color is the fourth in a series of special paint colors using Mazda’s unique “Takuminuri” paint technology, the new “Artisan Red Premium Metallic,” and is being used exclusively in Japan for the “MAZDA6 20th Anniversary Edition” for the first time.
