Mazda CX-30 2024 model update

Is the new CX-30 SKYACTIV-X grade recommended?
First of all, from an economic standpoint, compared to the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-equipped vehicle, the 20S PROACTIVE grade is priced at 2,612,500 yen, while the X PROACTIVE is priced at 3,294,500 yen, meaning a price difference of 682,000 yen. In terms of driving performance, in addition to the mild hybrid motor assist, the maximum output is 132kW (180PS), far exceeding other engines, making it a recommended choice for those who care about driving. Furthermore, if it becomes a hot topic and gains popularity in the future, it may be able to make up for some of the price difference if it is highly rated when sold as a used car.
New CX-30 equipped with improved version “e-SKYACTIV X”
Mazda will make product improvements (annual improvements) to the new CX-30 and release it on December 17, 2020 (SKYACTIV-G 2.0). Models equipped with the e-SKYACTIV X and SKYACTIV-D 1.8 will be released in January 2021.

New CX-30 “SKYACTIV-G 2.0” “M-Hybrid” mild hybrid
Mazda Europe offers the 2.0L Skyactiv-G 150M mild hybrid model for the Mazda3 and CX-30. Mazda CX-30 2023 model update
Mazda will announce the new CX-30 on September 4, 2023, with a product update and release date in late October. It features a new large 10.25-inch center display with the latest generation Mazda Connect infotainment system . It also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, and wireless connectivity (compatible with Apple CarPlay) has been added. The CD/DVD player has been discontinued, and HDMI has been removed. Engine Start (200 yen/month) is now available via the MyMazda app.
Furthermore, the automatic transmission false start prevention control (when moving forward/backward) has been improved, and in addition to the previous detection of obstacles such as cars and walls, it now also detects pedestrians (in front).
