On March 20, 2024 (local time), Lancia announced that it will add a hybrid (HEV) model to its lineup of the Lancia Ypsilon. It will be sold alongside the EV model introduced earlier this year .
Lancia’s new “Epsilon” hybrid (HEV) model
Lancia Stellantis didn’t offer many details, but the car will be powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, a six-speed e-DCT automatic transmission, and a 48V mild-hybrid system. It produces a relatively modest 99 hp (74 kW/100 PS). The car will eventually reach a top speed of 190 km/h, but the premium B-segment hatchback prioritizes efficiency over speed.

Like the EV, the hybrid will also be available as the Lancia Ypsilon Cassina. As a result, this model sports the familiar blue exterior with LED lighting units and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The exterior remains essentially unchanged, but the hybrid model features additional intake and exhaust ports.
