Nissan will release the new light commercial electric van, the Clipper EV, on February 12, 2024.
About the new Nissan Clipper EV light commercial electric van
The commercial electric vehicle (EV) “Clipper EV” is sold based on a vehicle supplied by Mitsubishi Motors under an OEM agreement. While maintaining the necessary cargo space and load capacity for a light commercial van, the powerful driving performance of a motor-driven EV makes it possible to easily transport heavy loads. It is also quiet when driving, starting, and stopping, making it safe to use in residential areas, including early mornings and late nights. The battery is mounted in the center of the floor for a low center of gravity, reducing the swaying and bouncing sensations typical of light commercial vans, resulting in a comfortable ride and stable handling. It has a maximum range of 180 km (WLTC mode) . Using rapid charging, it can be charged to 80% capacity in approximately 42 minutes, and fully charged in approximately 7.5 hours using standard charging. By charging at home or at work after work, you can use it the next day fully charged. The luggage compartment has a maximum load capacity of 350 kg, and by eliminating protruding wheelhouses and the step that occurs when the rear seats are folded down, the luggage compartment meets the needs of a light commercial van, such as ease of loading and unloading luggage.

The pre-air conditioning starter function in the keyless entry system allows the driver to turn on the car’s air conditioning from outside before getting in, even during rapid or normal charging.
