Dongfeng Nissan’s new “Pathfinder” specifications
Dongfeng Nissan’s new Pathfinder is almost identical to the new North American Pathfinder, although the size is slightly different due to differences in design. However, the engine is not a 2.0T VC-TURBO (KR20) variable compression ratio turbo engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Power is also excellent.

About the Nissan Pathfinder
After 38 years and four generations of evolution, the Pathfinder has sold nearly 2 million units, and its comfortable and reliable model quality has made it a star SUV model loved by thousands of families around the world. It is a sibling vehicle to the Infiniti QX60, sharing its power unit and drivetrain. The original North American Pathfinder has undergone a full model change, and the fifth generation will be released in the North American market in the summer of 2021.
Nissan North America: New Pathfinder Full Model Change
While the new styling may be the most notable change to the Pathfinder, the new transmission, different proportions, and improved technology suite all feature prominently. Powered by a 3.5L V6 engine producing 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic, the Pathfinder is based on a heavily revised version of the existing platform, measuring 1.5 inches shorter, 0.5 inches wider, and 0.5 inches shorter. Its overall length is 5,004mm, width is 1,979mm, height is 1,778mm, and wheelbase is 2,901mm.

Nissan North America’s new “Pathfinder”
With a choice of off-road capabilities and seven driving modes (Standard, Sport, Eco, Snow, Sand, Mud/Ruts, and Tow), the new Pathfinder lives up to its name. The Pathfinder can hold a 4×8 sheet of plywood between the wheel wells and seat up to eight thanks to the three-abreasted third-row bench (unless you select the second-row captain’s chairs). It can tow up to 6,000 pounds for all your weekend needs. To provide ample service for all eight passengers, there are USB ports throughout the cabin and in all three rows. The Pathfinder’s cargo area can fit a 120-quart cooler or four golf bags without lowering a single row.

Nissan North America’s new “Pathfinder”
The Pathfinder offers three rows of spacious seating for seven or eight, with the convenience of EZ-Slide second-row seats that easily jump back in even with child seats installed. For personalized comfort and seating for seven, customers can choose available second-row captain’s chairs.
Nissan also significantly improved NVH thanks to acoustic laminated glass, thicker second-row windows, and improved door and floor insulation, resulting in a 60% increase in engine noise absorption. You can fill the cabin with as much noise as you want thanks to an optional 13-speaker Bose sound system.
All grades of the Pathfinder come standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360, and the S and SV trims are equipped with the advanced driver assistance technology ProPILOT Assist. This system combines steering assist and adaptive cruise control to actually see not only the vehicle ahead but also the vehicle in front of you, controlling acceleration and deceleration. Higher grades are equipped with ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link.
