Daihatsu Motor announced on February 16, 2024, that it would lift the shipment suspension order for three models (excluding hybrids) – Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, and Subaru Rex – after the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism confirmed through witness testing and other tests that they comply with the standards of the Road Transport Vehicle Act . On February 20, 2024 , the company announced its ” Plant Operation Status for March, ” stating that it is currently investigating whether the Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, and Subaru Rex (excluding hybrids) will resume operations after March 4, 2024, and that it will work with suppliers and dealerships to resume production and shipments in sequence as soon as preparations are complete.
