SUBARU Corporation and KINTO Co., Ltd. have entered into a business partnership agreement and will launch the new car subscription service “SUBARU x KINTO” on May 16, 2024.

Overview of “SUBARU x KINTO”

Customers can choose from three, five, or seven-year contract periods and there are two options available: an “initial fee-free plan” that requires no lump-sum initial fees, and a “cancellation fee-free plan” that eliminates cancellation fees for mid-term cancellations by paying a designated application fee. Both plans are monthly flat-rate services that package together voluntary insurance payments, automobile tax, registration fees, regular vehicle maintenance, and vehicle inspections.

Applications can be made through the KINTO website as well as at Subaru dealerships nationwide, making it easy to use and providing peace of mind with maintenance at Subaru dealerships.

Contract plan

You can choose between the “No Initial Fee Plan” that allows you to start your car life with ease, or the “No Cancellation Fee Plan” that allows you to cancel at any time without paying any cancellation fees by paying an application fee when signing the contract.

Monthly fee: from 28,380 yen (all-inclusive)

The monthly price (tax included) is for an Impreza, with a 7-year contract with no initial fee plan, paid with a bonus (165,000 yen), the lowest grade, package, and no additional options.

What’s included in the monthly fee

Vehicle price, KINTO specified options (equipment) fee, registration fees, automobile tax environmental performance tax, various taxes and insurance during the contract period (automobile tax classification tax, weight tax, compulsory automobile liability insurance premium, automobile insurance (optional insurance) fee), maintenance costs (inspection, repairs, etc.), vehicle inspection costs

Contract mileage

There is no limit on mileage, but if the mileage of the returned vehicle exceeds the specified monthly mileage (1,500 km) x the number of months of use, an excess fee will be charged according to the excess mileage.
