Eight years after its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti has unveiled the final model of its Chiron hypercar. This model, named “L’Ultime,” is a Chiron Super Sport specially customized through the “Sur Mesure” personalization program. The Chiron “L’Ultime” is limited to 500 units, and this model marks the final production run.

The “L’Ultime” combines the French Racing Blue and Atlantic Blue hues of the original Chiron, arranged in reverse and with a gradient. The front and rear wheels are painted to match the body color, and the Bugatti Macaron emblem on the horseshoe grille is custom-made in blue.

The profile is hand-written with the names of locations that played an important role in the Chiron’s development and lifecycle, including Geneva, Chantilly, Circuit Paul Ricard, Circuit Ehra-Lessien, Chateau Saint-Jean, Cape Canaveral and Bugatti’s hometown of Molsheim. The design looks cool, but some may find it lacking in exclusivity.

The handwritten #500 emblem, signifying the “L’Ultime” production number, appears on the side skirts, wheels, rear wing and W16 powertrain cover, while the mirror caps feature the colors of the French flag, proudly referencing Bugatti’s country of origin.

Chiron variants include Sport, Pure Sport, Super Sport and Super Sport 300+, plus several limited edition and one-off models inspired by Bugatti’s heritage.
