Nissan Dayz 2024 specs

About the new Nissan Dayz
Nissan announced a fully redesigned new Dayz on March 14, 2019, with its release date set for March 28. At the same time, Mitsubishi Motors also released a fully redesigned new ek Wagon. This new model was also planned and developed by NMKV, a joint venture between Nissan and Mitsubishi, with manufacturing handled by Mitsubishi. While the design remains the same, the exterior and interior have been redesigned to resemble the new Serena, which was released on August 23, 2016. The new car features a sharper, more dynamic design, including Nissan’s signature boomerang-shaped lamp signatures and a V-motion grille. The new Dayz Roox , part of the Dayz series, already features the V-motion grille. The platform has been completely redesigned and will adopt a new platform. This new platform will be used for future Dayz series models. An S-HYBRID (Smart Simple Hybrid) model will also be included in the lineup. It boasts a JC08 mode fuel economy of 29.8 km/L. Emergency braking, an around view monitor, and high beam assist are standard features. In addition, ProPilot, which will be installed for the first time in a light vehicle, can be selected as an option.
This will be the first minor change in three years, and will be released on April 17, 2023. This time, the exterior design will be changed . The exterior and interior design will be similar to that of the “Roox”. The new “Nissan emblem” will be adopted. The latest V-motion design language will be adopted.
Nissan New Dayz Interior
The adoption of a newly designed platform has extended the wheelbase by 65 mm, expanding the rear seat legroom (flat floor with no protrusions) and luggage space (capable of arranging 13 cardboard boxes containing six 2L PET bottles each). The dealer-optional genuine navigation system is a 9-inch, and the meter panel is equipped with a 4.2-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display TFT color LCD. An electric parking brake is also available.
Nissan’s new Dayz advanced safety features
ProPilot (optional) Equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane keep assist (LKA), it primarily supports driving on expressways. It supports monotonous “traffic jam driving” and long periods of “cruising” on expressways. It operates when driving on expressways (approximately 0km/h to 100km/h). In these two scenarios, the car supports accelerator, brake, and steering operations, reducing the burden on the driver when driving at high speeds.
High Beam Assist : The forward detection camera detects the headlights of preceding and oncoming vehicles, as well as the brightness of the road. By increasing the frequency of driving with high beams, the system supports safe driving by detecting pedestrians early.
Intelligent Emergency Braking: The front camera detects vehicles and pedestrians ahead. If the risk of a collision increases, a warning is displayed on the meter display and a buzzer sounds to prompt the driver to take evasive action. If the driver is unable to safely slow down, the system automatically activates the emergency brakes to avoid a collision or reduce damage and injuries in the event of a collision.
Emergency Stop Signal: When you apply the brakes suddenly, the brake lights flash to warn vehicles behind you of the sudden braking, reducing the possibility of being rear-ended.
LDW (Lane Departure Warning) If the vehicle is about to unintentionally deviate from its lane, a warning will be displayed on the meter display and a buzzer will sound to alert the driver.
Intelligent LI (Lane Departure Prevention Assist System) generates force for a short period of time in the direction of returning the vehicle to the lane, encouraging the driver to take action to return the vehicle to the lane.
When parking or traveling at low speeds and encountering an obstacle such as a wall in the direction of travel, if the driver is late in braking and the system detects the risk of colliding with the obstacle, or if the driver mistakes the accelerator pedal for the brake, the system warns the driver with a display in the meter and a buzzer. By controlling engine output and braking, the system helps prevent collisions with obstacles and excessive acceleration.
Front and rear sonar detects obstacles and alerts you with a buzzer.
Intelligent Around View Monitor : Allows you to intuitively grasp the surrounding situation as if you were looking down on the car from directly above, allowing you to park with peace of mind.
Intelligent Rearview Mirror The rearview mirror is equipped with an LCD monitor, allowing you to instantly switch between the camera image at the rear of the vehicle and the mirror.
