Pioneer announced on June 13, 2024, that the cumulative number of downloads for the Android and iOS versions of its smartphone-specific car navigation app “COCCHi” has reached 400,000. The smartphone-specific car navigation app “COCCHi” was launched on September 21, 2023, and this milestone was achieved in just 10 months.
The next update for the smartphone-only car navigation app “COCCHi” is scheduled for June 18th.
The next update (scheduled for June 18th) will support genre searches (six categories in total, including parking lots, gas stations, restrooms, and convenience stores) on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™. Additionally, when using the COCCHi app alone, voice searches will become possible from the free-word search screen on your smartphone.

Pioneer began offering its smartphone-only car navigation app “COCCHi” for Android and iOS on September 21, 2023. Two plans are available: a “basic plan” for 350 yen per month (first month free) and a “free plan” with limited functionality.
