Chevrolet’s new Corvette (C8) is the most powerful model ever, the ZR1.
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will be powered by a 5.5L twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine, called the LT7, will feature forced induction, dual overhead cams, active fuel management, direct injection, and variable valve timing. A hybrid version (codenamed Zora) is also planned, and while the presence of an electric motor has not been confirmed, it’s been suggested that a small electric motor would produce a maximum output of 850 horsepower (634 kW / 862 PS) and a maximum torque of 1,119 Nm. The Corvette ZR1 will undoubtedly be an impressive beast.
