Volkswagen Japan will announce a minor change to the T-Cross on July 3, 2024, and will begin accepting orders from July 6, 2024. Shipments of the new T-Cross are scheduled to begin after late September 2024.

2024 Volkswagen T-Cross
With this facelift, the T-Cross has evolved in every way while retaining the highly acclaimed status of the current model. In particular, the exterior design has been significantly revamped, with new lighting and bumper designs. The headlights with new LED graphics retain their normal appearance, while matrix LED headlights are now standard on the Style and R-Line models and available as an option on the Life model. The rear design has also been redesigned, with the LED taillights now featuring a horizontal line design.




The T-Cross’ colorful body color lineup includes eight colors, including the new Grape Yellow, Clear Blue Metallic, and King’s Red Metallic. Furthermore, the TSI Style is available with the Mistral design package, which features a subdued gray tone, as an option, adding a chic touch to the car.

The interior has also been significantly improved, featuring a redesigned dashboard and improved material quality. The digital cockpit software has been upgraded, and larger 8-inch and 9.2-inch full-screen touchscreens have been adopted, enabling wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Additionally, 8-inch and 10-inch full-screen digital meters are also installed. The interior now features a soft dash pad, improving the quality of the interior. The premium Beats sound system and heated front seats provide an even more comfortable interior space.








About the new Volkswagen T-Cross minor change grade
The T-Cross is available in three grades: TSI Active, TSI Style, and TSI R-Line. The TSI Active comes standard with the latest driving assistance systems, including Travel Assist and the lane-keeping assist system Lane Assist. The TSI Style comes standard with LED matrix headlights IQ.LIGHT and heated seats for the driver and passenger, while the TSI R-Line, which features a special exterior, is fitted with special seats and 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The new T-Cross is the first to be equipped with the advanced LED matrix headlights “IQ.LIGHT.” This allows for advanced control of the light’s illumination range, supporting safe nighttime driving. In addition, all grades come standard with the same lane all-speed driving assistance system “Travel Assist.”
New safety features include predictive cruise control, improved front assist and lane assist systems, and the IQ.Drive travel assist system. A park assist system is now standard, featuring front assist with pedestrian monitoring and emergency braking, lane assist, hill start assist, and rear blind spot monitoring.

The new T-Cross is powered by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder TSI engine with a maximum output of 85kW (116PS), a 7-speed DSG transmission, and front-wheel drive.
