Mercedes-AMG announced the new AMG GT Coupe model, the AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic+, on July 12, 2024, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 in the UK . This new model further enhances the high performance of the previous AMG GT 63 4MATIC+, with a particular emphasis on driving performance on the circuit. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Europe from 2025. The release date in Japan has yet to be determined.
About the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Coupe “AMG GT63 Pro”
The new AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic+ features a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that has been upgraded from 585 hp to 611 hp, with torque increased from 81.6 kgm to 86.7 kgm. This translates into a 0-96 km/h acceleration time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h.
The new AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic+ features numerous aerodynamic improvements, including active air panels, which improve cooling performance. This reduces front lift by 30 kg and increases rear downforce by 15 kg. The exterior features larger air intakes and additional carbon fiber deflectors, further emphasizing the sporty design.
The car also comes equipped with 21-inch aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires or the no-cost option Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires for enhanced grip. The braking system comes standard with carbon ceramic discs and six-piston calipers, with titanium disc backings to reduce unsprung weight.

The exterior of the new AMG GT Coupe adopts the latest design, with a large grille that gives a wide impression. The rear maintains its curved design, but the roofline has become gentler, expanding the interior space. Aerodynamic performance has also been emphasized, and the active air control system on the grille and the rear spoiler have improved driving performance. The body size has also been extended with an extended wheelbase, ensuring a spacious interior space that can accommodate a 2+2 seat layout.

The interior features a 12.3-inch digital meter and an 11.9-inch infotainment display, and is equipped with the latest generation MBUX (Mercedes User Experience) system. Advanced features such as voice control and AR navigation are provided. The rear seats can be folded, and the luggage space has a capacity of 321L under normal conditions and 675L at maximum.
