Daihatsu New Tanto Minor Change
Daihatsu unveiled the Tanto Funcross, a new model that expresses fun and activeness in the facelifted Tanto, and began accepting advance orders on August 22, 2022. On November 4, 2022, Daihatsu announced that the cumulative number of orders for the new Tanto, which was released on October 3, 2022, had reached approximately 50,000 units one month after the announcement, four times the monthly sales target (12,500 units).
An idling stop-less specification (for vehicles not equipped with eco IDLE) will be added to the Tanto (excluding the Friendship Series), Taft, and Move Canvas grades, which will be released on April 11, 2023.
The new Tanto features a significantly revised front face from the Tanto Custom, giving it a more imposing presence and expressing the quality and sophistication of adults.

In addition, a new model, the Tanto Funcross, has been added to the expanding active super-height wagon market as an active vehicle that goes beyond everyday use and allows for fun times . Smart Assist now features a blind spot monitor and RCTA (rear cross traffic alert) . The L model (vehicle without Smart Assist) has been discontinued, and Smart Assist will now be standard equipment on all vehicles. New body and interior colors have been added.
