The once-popular compact car, the Renault 4 (Quatre), has been reborn as the timeless electric SUV, the Renault 4 E-Tech. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show on October 14, 2024, this new car retains its retro feel while being packed with the latest technology, making it an appealing model that blends nostalgia with modernity.
About the new Renault 4 E-Tech

The Renault 4 E-Tech shares many components with the previously announced compact EV “Renault 5,” but has established its own unique SUV identity. With a total length of 4,140 mm, a total width of 1,800 mm, and a total height of 1,570 mm, it is slightly larger than the Renault 5, ensuring ample space for family use. With a ground clearance of 180 mm and large diameter wheels, it creates a powerful style befitting an SUV.

The exterior design features round LED headlights and a boxy silhouette reminiscent of the original Renault 4, but with a modern interpretation, it gives off a fresh impression. In addition to a wide variety of body colors, by combining optional graphics, a whopping 670 customizations are possible. Furthermore, an electric sliding canvas roof is available, allowing you to enjoy the open air, just like the Fiat 500X Convertible.










About the new Renault 4 E-Tech interior

The interior features an advanced cockpit with a 10-inch digital meter and a 10-inch touchscreen. The Google-powered OpenR Link infotainment system supports operation via an AI assistant and connectivity with over 50 apps, supporting a comfortable drive. Other appealing features include playful design elements such as seats made from recycled materials reminiscent of jeans and a unique gear lever shaped like a lipstick tube.


















About the new Renault 4 E-Tech powertrain
Its performance as an EV is also excellent, with the 40kWh battery model achieving a range of 300km, and the 52kWh battery model achieving a range of 402km. It also supports fast charging, being able to charge up to 80% in 30 minutes. Two powertrains are available, 122ps and 150ps, providing powerful acceleration and smooth driving.
