1. The most expensive Japanese car: the 17-year-old Nissan GT-R (2025 model)

Toyota will release the new Century in November 2023. The new car launch event was held at 1:30 PM on September 6, 2023. Extra Edition: The most expensive Japanese car ever: Lexus LFA
The most expensive car in Japan is the Lexus LFA. Its selling price is 37.5 million yen , the highest price of any car in Japan, including all previous models. Production began on December 15, 2010, at the Toyota Motor Corporation Motomachi Plant “LFA Workshop” in Aichi Prefecture, and almost all of the cars were handmade by artisans at a rate of one car per day. A limited run of 500 cars was produced over a 25-month period, ending on December 14, 2012. Of these, only approximately 200 were sold in Japan.

In 2000, Toyota Motor Corporation came up with a plan to “create the ultimate domestic supercar,” and development of the LFA began. Approximately 50 of the 500 units were produced in early 2012 as a high-performance “Nürburgring Package” model, designed for circuit racing.
