Honda’s new N-BOX, partially improved, and safety features for the 2025 model
In terms of safety equipment, Honda’s advanced safety driver support system, “Honda Sensing,” is standard equipment on all vehicles. This makes available adaptive cruise control (ACC) with traffic jam following function and a rear parking sensor system, reducing the burden on the driver and supporting safe driving. In addition, the car is equipped with a multi-view camera system, a near-collision mitigation brake that helps reduce collisions when driving at low speeds, and a sudden acceleration suppression function that suppresses sudden accelerator operation due to accidental operation, and other features, pursuing multifaceted safety performance.
Honda’s new N-BOX partially improved engine for the 2025 model
The powertrain continues to be equipped with the latest 660cc engine, and the naturally aspirated engine employs the variable valve timing and lift mechanism “VTEC” to deliver easy-to-handle driving performance in all situations, from city driving to highway driving. The turbo engine achieves both responsive acceleration and low fuel consumption through precise control of boost pressure using an electric wastegate. The CVT’s shift control has also been meticulously revised to provide a smoother, more premium driving feel. Furthermore, the expansion of the idle stop range has enabled quieter and smoother parking, improving everyday usability.
Fuel efficiency has also improved, with the naturally aspirated engine achieving 21.6km/L and the turbo engine achieving 20.3km/L in WLTC mode. This contributes greatly to the economy of everyday use. While the body size has been maintained from the previous model, improvements in detail, such as improved quietness, provide an even more comfortable interior space.

The rear seat slide is standard on all vehicles, and instead of a bench seat, it is a separate seat that allows for a walk-through. An electric parking brake and auto brake hold are also adopted. Honda SENSING is standard on all models. The full model change has resulted in engine improvements and a revised platform, which are expected to reduce weight and increase rigidity, as well as slightly improve fuel efficiency.
