New Hustler delivery information
We did our own research on delivery times, mainly on social media. As of June 2025, the delivery time for the new Hustler is about one to three months . It seems that even those who have been waiting for a long time have received their car a little earlier.
However, this is only a guideline and may vary depending on the grade, options, body color, dealer, and region.
For example, if you select a popular grade, option, or body color, delivery times tend to be longer. Delivery times also vary depending on the distance from the production plant and the dealer’s inventory.
If you would like to know a more accurate delivery time, please contact your local dealer.

What factors affect the delivery time of the Hustler?
The main factors that affect delivery times are as follows:
- Impact of semiconductor shortage : The impact of the global semiconductor shortage is also being felt in the automotive industry, affecting the production of the Hustler.
- Popular grades, options, and body colors : Production of popular grades, options, and body colors tends to be slow, resulting in longer delivery times.
- Production factory operation status : Delivery times vary depending on the factory’s operation status and production plans.
- Dealer availability : If the vehicle is in stock at your dealer, it may be delivered immediately.
- Seasonal factors : Orders may be concentrated during fiscal year-ends and before new model releases, resulting in longer delivery times.
What are some tips to speed up the delivery time for a Hustler?
To speed up the delivery time for your Hustler, keep the following points in mind.
- Check with the dealer to see if the car is in stock : If the dealer has the car in stock, it may be delivered immediately. Be sure to contact the dealer frequently to check the stock situation.
- Avoid popular grades, options, and body colors : Popular grades, options, and body colors tend to have long delivery times. If you really want one, order early or consider grades, options, and body colors with shorter delivery times.
- Wait for a cancelled car : If a car is cancelled, you may be able to get it delivered relatively quickly. It is a good idea to register with the dealership on a waiting list.
- Contact multiple retailers : Stock availability and delivery times vary by retailer, so contact multiple retailers and choose the one with the quickest delivery time.
Hustler Features
Suzuki has fully redesigned the new Hustler, announcing it on December 24, 2019, and releasing it on January 20, 2020. Prices range from 1,365,100 yen to 1,746,800 yen, and this marks the first full model change in about five years since the previous model. The second-generation new Hustler, the “HUSTLER CONCEPT,” was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, which ran from October 24 to November 4, 2019 (press days were October 23-24, 2019).
This new Hustler was developed with the concept of “More fun! More exciting! A more active mini crossover.” It also uses the new platform “HEARTECT,” which is also used in the new Wagon R.
About the new Suzuki Hustler exterior
- The concept is kept from the previous model. The headlights are round, just like the previous model.
- Inspired by outdoor items, it combines toughness and strength with functionality.
- Compared to the previous model, the wheelbase has been extended by 35 mm to provide more legroom for rear seat passengers, and the distance between the left and right passengers in the front seats has been increased by 30 mm to create a comfortable and spacious interior.
The exterior design maintains the same concept, with the Hustler’s headlights retaining the same round shape as the previous model. This gives it a unique personality that makes it instantly recognizable as a Hustler. It also incorporates ideas from outdoor items, emphasizing functionality while pursuing toughness and strength. The height of the bonnet has been raised by 20mm, giving it a rounded yet thick, slightly angular image, resulting in a design closer to the new Jimny.

Compared to the previous model, the wheelbase has been extended by 35 mm to ensure more legroom for rear seat passengers, and the distance between the front seats has been increased by 30 mm to create a comfortable and spacious interior.Even with this expansion, the minimum turning radius has been maintained at 4.6 m, ensuring continued maneuverability.

About the new Suzuki Hustler interior
- The interior has a very high quality feel, giving it an outdoor and sporty feel.
- Equipped with a newly developed 9-inch HD display and memory navigation system (manufactured by Pioneer). Also compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SmartDeviceLink.
The interior design is similar to the new XBEE. Its high-quality construction creates an outdoor, sporty impression. The dashboard shape and navigation system are particularly distinctive. The instrument cluster features a color LCD meter and a newly developed Pioneer memory navigation system with a 9-inch HD display. It also supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SmartDeviceLink. The all-round monitor features a 3D view, allowing for a 360-degree view of the surroundings (manufacturer option). To enhance quietness, a high-damping mastic sealer is used for the first time in a minicar, and soundproofing and insulation materials are optimally positioned. However, the car does not come equipped with an electric parking brake and hold system.

Suzuki New Hustler Platform Safety Equipment
- Adopts next-generation lightweight platform “Heartect”
- The safety equipment is equipped with “Dual Camera Brake Support,” which corresponds to the “Support Car S Wide” standard promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
The 6th generation Wagon R uses the next-generation lightweight platform “HEARTECT” and has completely redesigned the frame and major parts. This has resulted in high rigidity and light weight. The adoption of the new platform has made it possible to increase the interior space compared to the previous model.
As part of its preventive safety technology, the Suzuki Safety Support is equipped with “Dual Camera Brake Support.” This falls under the “Support Car S Wide” category, which is being promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Furthermore, the car is also equipped with “Snow Mode,” a first for Suzuki’s light vehicles.
Suzuki new Hustler engine
The combination of the new “R06D” engine and new CVT has achieved excellent fuel economy and smooth driving over a wide speed range, from low to medium-high speeds. All models are equipped with the mild hybrid system used in the new Wagon R, which increases the motor assist time and motor output, raising maximum output from 2.2ps to 3.1ps. This provides even better fuel economy.
New Hustler equipped with Dual Camera Brake Support
A stereo camera with night-time pedestrian detection helps avoid danger.
Dual Camera Brake Support has the following features:
- Forward Collision Warning: When driving at speeds between approximately 5km/h and approximately 100km/h, the system detects vehicles and pedestrians in front of the vehicle and issues an alert if there is a possibility of a collision.
- Forward Collision Warning Brake Function: If the possibility of a collision increases, the system automatically applies a gentle brake to help avoid the collision.
- Forward Collision Mitigation Brake Assist Function: When the driver applies the brakes after it is determined that a collision is likely, the brake assist function is activated to increase braking force.
- Automatic braking function: If an unavoidable collision is determined, the system automatically applies strong brakes to reduce the damage caused by the collision.
The false start prevention function prevents collisions caused by incorrect pedal or shift operation.
The Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention functions sound an alarm when the vehicle strays from its lane and, if necessary, prompt the driver to steer in a direction to prevent the vehicle from leaving its lane.
The sway warning function sounds an alarm if the vehicle sways, alerting the driver.
Reverse brake support and front and rear collision mitigation brakes help reduce the damage caused by a collision when reversing.
The adaptive cruise control with full-speed range following function automatically maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, accelerating, decelerating and even stopping.
