The four-wheel steering system, “Dynamic Rear Steering,” provides excellent maneuverability at low speeds and seamless, natural handling at medium and high speeds.The electronically controlled air suspension with AVS function provides a soft, flat ride with minimal eye movement.
Body rigidity has been improved through the use of structural adhesives, newly developed tires specifically designed for ride comfort, and tuning has been applied to every detail, including rubber parts such as suspension arms, bushings, and mounts.

The new Century Coupe is expected to be priced at approximately 25 million yen, which is between the Century Saloon (20.08 million yen) and the Century SUV (27 million yen).
The launch is scheduled for 2027. Toyota will expand the Century series lineup with the new Century Coupe, and will continue to promote its strategy of evolving from a “top-of-the-line car” to a “top-of-the-line brand.”

History of the Century | Carrying on 60 years of tradition
The Century is Toyota’s highest-end passenger car, with the first model released in 1967. The model name “Century” comes from the fact that 1967, the year it was released, was the 100th anniversary of the Meiji era and the birth of Toyota founder Sakichi Toyoda.
The first generation had a very long model life of 30 years, and the second generation for 20 years, and sales continued with many small improvements. They were used as official vehicles and executive cars for government agencies and companies, and in 2006 the “Century Royal” was produced as the imperial car for the Emperor and Empress.
