Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto Japan has updated some of its electric sports sedan, the BYD SEAL, and will begin selling it at authorized BYD dealerships nationwide from Thursday, October 30, 2025, with new pricing. The big topic this time is the new price of the rear-wheel drive (RWD) model, set at 4.95 million yen, just under 5 million yen.

By taking advantage of the CEV subsidy, the RWD model can be purchased at an attractive price of 4.5 million yen, and the AWD model at an attractive price of 5.37 million yen.
