Infiniti announced at CES 2024, the world’s largest technology trade show to be held in Las Vegas from January 9th to 12th, 2024, that it will become the first automaker to equip a premium SUV with Klipsch audio equipment in the new 2025 model QX80.
The new 2025 Infiniti QX80 will feature a Klipsch audio system.
Infiniti will become the first automaker to collaborate with audio manufacturer Klipsch to offer the optional 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system on its premium QX80 SUV, which will be released in late 2024. The system features titanium tweeters, a high-performance 8-inch TriPower subwoofer, and a 24-channel amplifier. Infiniti says it worked directly with Klipsch audio experts to integrate the system into the QX80. Infiniti is looking to refresh its image to stay relevant in the luxury vehicle segment, and the QX80 will be at the forefront of this effort.

Infiniti QX Monograph
Infiniti unveiled the Infiniti QX Monograph on August 17, 2023 (local time), previewing the redesigned QX80. Infiniti will fully redesign the new QX80 and release it in 2024 as a 2025 model.
The future of Infiniti design was revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with the Infiniti QX Monograph, which not only offered a preview of the next-generation QX80 but also showcased the direction of the brand’s future design language.

The Infiniti QX Monograph features many cues that Infiniti has explicitly chosen to emphasize. Its large “double-arch” grille. Inspired by the shapes found in bamboo forests, the grille’s stems gently curve toward the center and intersect with each other to form an intricate matrix pattern. The grille is finished in gloss black to match its dark chrome surround, while its size is intended to suggest the SUV’s powerful and dignified driving experience. Located in the center of the grille, Infiniti’s new three-dimensional logo appears for the first time. The new badge features special white lighting that creates the illusion of depth, adding dynamism to the emblem.

The new lighting technology extends beyond the logo, featuring an “electronic piano key” headlight design crafted with an intricate “kimono fold” pattern. The DRLs are connected to the grille by segments, emphasizing the height of the hood and the width of the SUV. They span the entire width of the rear, further highlighting its imposing size. The lighting elements’ widths widen and narrow, creating a sense of depth similar to the logo. Each piano key segment in the taillights has two sections: a solid block at the top and a striped section at the bottom, designed to replicate the appearance of light reflecting off gently rippling water. Lighting at both ends of the vehicle captivates the driver and passengers with welcome and farewell animations. A panoramic sunroof allows occupants to bathe in natural light and enjoy heavenly views.

It promises to be a “dramatic concept vehicle” that “boldly showcases” the evolution of Infiniti’s design language. Expect bold proportions, “striking design elements,” and an updated version of the “double-arch grille.”
While the teaser image doesn’t reveal much, it does show the concept has a prominent grille with angular lines and Infiniti’s new logo. It appears similar to the grille seen on the QX80 prototype. Design details, such as kimono creases in the “digital piano key” headlights, origami on the grille mesh, and rippling ponds on the quilted leather interior, are intended to evoke a Japanese spirit. The Moonbow Blue paint is said to be reminiscent of a summer sky at dusk and features special pigments that can change color across the purple-to-green spectrum based on the viewing angle.
