Audi will release a new electric vehicle (EV) sedan, the A6 E-Tron, and a station wagon, the A6 Avant E-Tron, in 2024. The A6 e-tron concept was unveiled at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show in 2021, followed by the A6 Avant E-Tron concept in 2022, with both models set to go on sale in fiscal 2024.
About the new Audi EVs “A6 E-Tron” and “A6 Avant E-Tron”
The design combines the latest in brand design with the cutting edge of electric vehicles. It uses digital matrix LED and digital OLED technology, achieving a compact yet bright and delicate light distribution.

In addition to the four-door coupe “A6 e-tron,” a wagon “A6 Avant e-tron” is also available. By improving aerodynamics through wind tunnel testing, the Cd value (air resistance coefficient) has been reduced to 0.24 Cd for the wagon and 0.22 Cd for the four-door coupe.

Like the recently announced Macan EV , the new platform for next-generation electric vehicles, the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), is used, ensuring a spacious interior while achieving a range of over 700 km. It also boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 4 seconds.
Charging uses a state-of-the-art 800V system, ensuring consistent high performance, significantly shortening charging times, and reducing the weight of high-voltage cables and the space they require. The underbody is equipped with lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of approximately 100 kWh. Consideration has been given to finding a balance between range, performance, and sustainability. With a suitably powerful fast-charging station, the battery’s charge level can be increased from 5% to 80% in less than 25 minutes.

The A6 e-tron is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system (4WD “Quattro”) with a maximum output of 469 hp (350 kW/476 PS) and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft (800 Nm).
