Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. has decided to resume production of 10 minicar models, including the Mira e:S, from February 26, 2024. Shipments of unshipped vehicles will begin on February 19. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced on January 30, 2024, that it would lift the shipment suspension order, after results of on-site testing and other tests confirmed that the 10 models comply with the standards of the Road Transport Vehicle Act .
