Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., Ltd. announced the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition, a special edition Mercedes-Benz G-Class limited to 235 units nationwide on February 28, 2024. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in March 2024.

This limited edition model features special interior and exterior features. The striking contrast between the matte black and gold exterior, known as “Magno Night Black,” and the luxurious interior further enhance the appeal of the G 63. This model is limited to 235 units, with 95 left-hand drive and 140 right-hand drive. The price is 32,000,000 yen.

The exterior is based on the matte paint exterior color “Magno Night Black,” with Magno Kalahari Gold accents on parts of the front and rear skirts, spare tire ring, front and rear three-pointed stars, bonnet badge, side badge, and rear badge, as well as black smoked headlights, taillights, and turn signals, giving it a special appearance. Furthermore, this special edition vehicle is equipped with 22-inch AMG aluminum wheels in Tech Gold paint.

The interior features an AMG performance steering wheel made of DINAMICA and featuring the “G 63” logo, enhancing the sense of exclusivity. Furthermore, seat ventilators (driver and passenger seats) prevent the seat contact area from getting stuffy in hot weather, and a nappa leather dashboard with smooth, diamond-stitched nappa leather seats with relaxation functions (driver and passenger seats) are standard equipment. The exterior aesthetic is also incorporated into the interior with the adoption of nappa leather seats with gold stitching and carbon fiber interior trim with copper accents.
