MAZDA3
The Mazda 3 is a compact car from Mazda. Positioned as the first of Mazda’s next-generation product lineup, the exterior design, under the slogan “aesthetics of subtraction” used by Mazda itself, minimizes the character lines typically found on the body sides, expressing texture through surface variations. While the Mazda 3 follows the Axela lineup, the model previously sold as a “sports hatchback” is now called a “fastback.” It features a mild hybrid system, achieving improved fuel economy and environmental friendliness.

On January 16, 2020, a new vehicle equipped with the mild hybrid “SKYACTIV-X” was released. This time, the lineup includes a model equipped with the “e-SKYACTIV-X” mild hybrid. By optimizing the combustion control of “SPCCI,” torque and power have been improved across almost all engine speed ranges. Maximum power has increased from 132kW (180PS) to 140kW (190PS), and maximum torque from 224N・m to 240N・m. The highly responsive air supply’s supercharging has been precisely controlled, providing quicker supercharging in response to quick acceleration, improving responsiveness. Exclusive e-SKYACTIV-X badges are attached to the front fenders and rear.
The model will undergo a partial model update on August 4, 2022 (Reiwa 4). This partial model update will see the discontinuation of the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 and the addition of the e-SKYACTIV-G, a 2.0L direct-injection gasoline engine with a mild hybrid system called the M HYBRID. The e-SKYACTIV-G engine delivers a maximum output of 115kW (156PS) at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 199Nm (20.3kgfm) at 4,000rpm, while the unique M HYBRID mild hybrid system produces a maximum output of 5.1kW (6.9PS) at 1,800rpm and a maximum torque of 49Nm (5.0kgfm) at 100rpm. This combination delivers quiet, smooth acceleration, a premium driving feel, and fuel economy in the WLTC test cycle (WLTC test cycle) of 15.5km/L to 16.2km/L. Each grade’s equipment will also be revised.

Price and specifications revealed: Product improvement “MX-30” to be released on October 20, 2022
The rotary engine, which Mazda successfully mass-produced in 1967 , is a technology that symbolizes Mazda , and with a spirit of “never giving in to challenges,” the company has continued to pursue the possibilities of the rotary engine and create new value for over half a century . Taking advantage of the rotary engine’s unique ability to achieve the required output performance in a compact unit, Mazda will launch the plug-in hybrid model “MAZDA MX-30 Rotary-EV,” which uses the rotary engine as a generator.
The new MX-30 is available in two currently announced versions: the mild hybrid e-SKYACTIV G and the electric e-SKYACTIV . The e-SKYACTIV electric model has a WLTC range of approximately 200km, which is frankly unreliable compared to other electric vehicles, as it has a shorter driving range from a fully charged battery. To address this issue, the e-SKYACTIV is equipped with a single rotary engine generator, a “rotary engine generator” model designed to double the driving range. Combined with a 17.8kWh lithium-ion battery and a 50L fuel tank, the new model boasts a European WLTP range of approximately 400 miles (approximately 640km), putting it on par with other competitors. The EV driving range is 80km in the European WLTP mode.
The entire drive is powered by a motor, and the car has an EV range of 107km, making it suitable for use as a battery EV in a wide range of everyday situations, and the rotary engine generates electricity for even longer distances.

CX-60
The CX-60 is Mazda’s first PHEV vehicle, combining powerful acceleration with excellent fuel economy thanks to its electric motor.
The CX-60’s exterior design is based on Mazda’s “Kodo-Soul of Motion” design philosophy , featuring a deeply sculpted front fascia with an aggressive rear end. Eye-catching features include vertically stacked headlights and L-shaped daytime running lights. Despite its impressive body dimensions of 4,740mm in length, 1,890mm in width, 1,685mm in height, and a 2,870mm wheelbase, the CX-60’s rear-wheel drive platform allows for a turning radius of just 5.4m, making it highly maneuverable for its size.
