“Toyota Safety Sense” is Toyota Motor Corporation’s preventive safety package. It is available in “Toyota Safety Sense C,” its higher-level version “Toyota Safety Sense P,” and, from 2018 to 2024, the “2nd Generation Toyota Safety Sense.” The preventive safety package has many different features, and those unfamiliar with it may think, “It’s okay” just because it’s included. There’s a chance they’ll end up regretting their purchase. Here, we’ve summarized the differences by vehicle model.

Second generation Toyota Safety Sense

The second-generation “Toyota Safety Sense,” to be introduced in 2018, will retain the “monocular camera + millimeter-wave radar” configuration used in the current “Toyota Safety Sense P,” but will aim to prevent accidents, further reduce traffic fatalities and injuries, and ease the burden on drivers through the following advancements. Until now, no measures were taken for “pedestrians” and “cyclists” when driving at night, but this is now possible with the second-generation “Toyota Safety Sense . “

Furthermore, starting around 2023 , Toyota Safety Sense will undergo many upgrades as part of minor improvements, making almost all vehicle models available with the latest features.

This is a list of vehicles equipped with “Toyota Safety Sense” as of March 2024.
