About the new Dodge Charger

The car will be built on Stellantis’ new STLA Large platform, which is compatible with EV powertrains and will also be available with a conventional V8 engine.

The EV model, named “Daytona,” is called the “Dutch Charger Daytona EV” and is equipped with a 400V battery and two electric motors. Two power output configurations are available: 496hp for the R/T and 670hp for the Scat Pack. The ICE (internal combustion engine) model is equipped with a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine. Two power output configurations are also available: 420hp for the Charger Six Pack SO and 550hp for the Charger Six Pack HO.

About the exterior of the new Dodge Charger

The 2024 Charger will be available in two body styles: a two-door coupe and a four-door sedan. The coupe, called the Daytona, offers a sportier look and driving performance.

The two-door coupe is called “Charger Daytona” and has a unique design with two large holes in the hood. The four-door sedan retains the image of the traditional Charger while evolving into a more modern design. Both models are 206.6 inches long, more than eight inches longer than the previous model. The width is also nearly five inches wider than the previous model, giving them a more imposing presence.

The 2024 Charger will be available in two body styles: a two-door coupe and a four-door sedan. The coupe will be available only as the Charger Daytona R/T and Charger Daytona Scat Pack, while the sedan will be available as the Charger R/T, Charger Scat Pack, Charger Six-Pack SO, and Charger Six-Pack HO.

It effectively replaces both the Charger and Challenger, making it two cars in one.

The interior is similar to the design unveiled in the SRT concept. It features a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with Uconnect 5, a 10.25-inch display on the R/T model, and a 16-inch digital gauge cluster on the Scat Pack model. Optional features include wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and nappa leather seats.
