The Renault Scenic E-Tech was awarded the European Car of the Year 2024. The award was announced at a ceremony held at the Geneva Motor Show on February 26, 2024. Among the seven finalists, the Toyota C-HR was the only Japanese car to remain, which was disappointing for me as a Japanese person. The Yaris won the grand prize in 2021, so it was possible that a Japanese car would win the award for the first time in three years. From a long list of 28 models, a jury of 59 journalists representing 22 countries selected seven candidates.
European Car of the Year 2024 results
