Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced “The Arc,” a new management plan to enhance the company’s value and competitiveness, on March 25, 2024. Nissan aims to increase sales and profitability through this plan, which consists of the introduction of new vehicles, promotion of electrification, innovation in development and production methods, adoption of new technologies, and strategic partnerships.

30 new vehicle models to be launched over the next three years
Nissan will launch 30 new vehicle models over the next three years, of which 16 will be electrified and 14 will be ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles, creating a balanced portfolio to meet diverse customer needs and the differing pace of electrification in each market. Between fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2030, a total of 34 electrified vehicles will be launched to cover all segments, with the global electrified vehicle model mix expected to reach 40% in fiscal 2026 and 60% in fiscal 2030.

Infiniti officially announced (world premiere) the new 2025 model of the QX80 on March 20, 2024 (local time). The car will be equipped with a VR35DDT 3.5L twin-turbo engine and ProPilot 2.1 .

Nissan Kicks
Nissan USA has completely redesigned its new Kicks crossover SUV, unveiling the 2025 model on March 22, 2024 local time (March 23, 2024 Japan time). The US model will be released around August 2024. The release date for the Japanese model has not yet been announced.

Nissan Leaf full model change crossover
The new Nissan Leaf will be equipped with the CMF-EV, a common platform exclusively for EVs that was announced on January 27, 2022. This platform is already used in the Nissan Ariya and Renault Megane E-Tech Electric.

Nissan announced a new compact EV (electric vehicle) that will be the successor to the Micra on January 27, 2022. It has already been two years since its announcement, and it shares its base with the new Renault 5. With the recent announcement of the Renault 5, it is said that the Nissan-branded Micra successor model will also be announced in the near future, possibly within 2024.
